I am Sreerag, a Software Engineer with over 4 years of experience. A Computer Science Engineer, inquisitive in Machine Learning, Cyber Security and Full Stack Development of highly scalable and reliable systems.

I have been a Facilitator of Google AI's Explore ML Academy and hosted numerous workshops on machine learning and deep learning as a resource person, and trained over 1000+ students.

I have also been Google's Developer Student Club Lead and organised workshops in Cloud Computing, Machine Learning and Fullstack development with industry experts.

As a Machine Learning facilitator, I helped over 1000 students to achieve a greater understanding of foundational Machine Learning through workshops(as a resource person), lectures and one to one interactions. I was also a speaker at TensorFlow World Extended Kerala 2019. One of my project was selected as one among the top twenty projects from the country to Google AI Explore ML BootCamp.

I worked as an intern at Jyothi Consultancy Services (JCS - IT Services wing of my college) as a Software Engineering Intern in my second year undergraduate period.
Through this, I got an opportunity to work as a website/application developer and worked on live projects both as an individual and in a team.

  • Lung disease detection using Federated Learning:


    • Using privacy-preserving collaborative Machine Learning to detect lung disease of a person
    • In this, a model is trained on local clients(hospitals) using their patients' data, and the inference learned is transferred to the server, keeping data secured at client devices
    • Main Tools Used: Python, TensorFlow Federated, Keras, Cloud Computing

  • Wetland – Dryland Statistics Using Satellite Image:


    • Using Machine Learning and Satellite Image Processing, the system identifies wetlands from Satellite Images and calculates the area of wetlands, changes happened in the last 10 years
    • Using Fully Convolutional Network(FCN) Architecture, Integrated with a web application for user friendliness
    • Main Tools Used: TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit learn, NumPy, matplotlib.

  • Track Smoker :


    • Uses Machine Learning to identify whether a person is smoking or not. If found smoking, then report to law enforcement authorities with the smoker’s picture and location
    • Using Convolutional Neural Network(CNN) Architecture, Integrated with a web application for user friendliness
    • Main Tools Used: TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit learn, NumPy

  • Intelligent Traffic Control System:


    • Users use Computer Vision to identify the number of vehicles on a road and adjust the time of changing of traffic light accordingly
    • Using the MOG algorithm, the CC camera in the traffic post
    • Main Tools Used: OpenCV, SK-Video

  • Tracker Using Facial Recognition:


    • Using a Facial Recognition system to track the location of a person via the web portal and email, if a connected network of cameras is available
    • Using HOG algorithm, Integrated with a web portal for user friendliness
    • Main Tools Used: FacialRecognition(python package), OpenCV, NumPy

  • Communication Using Eye-Blinks for a Fully Paralysed Person:


    • System designed for paralysed/differently-abled persons, helps them to communicate using an eye-blink pattern
    • Make calls/messages/emails, speak and facilitate other actions for a paralysed person by identifying patterns from their eyelid movement
    • Main Tools Used: OpenCV, Numpy, MySQL

  • College Library Attendance System:


    • Web application integrated with a barcode scanner which collects information about students from the barcode of ID card and mark his/her attendance and provide statistics of library attendance over a specified period of time
    • Main Tools Used: PHP, JavaScript, HTML, MySQL

  • College Handbook Web Application:


    • Developed a digital Handbook for my college, a web application which contains contact details, timetable, syllabus, news on the internal matters of the college and other details of the college.

As a developer, I love to create magic with software.

Apart from being a developer, I enjoy most of my time as a musician, being Outdoors, and rejuvenating relationships with my loved ones, as well as making new connections with people.

When forced indoors, I would love to follow sci-fi and fantasy genre movies and television shows, I am an aspiring chef, and I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest technology advancements in the digital world.
